OUAI Crush Pippa Teigen On Her Beauty Routine and Being a Big Sister
Few French bulldogs are privileged enough to call world's favorite couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend their parents. Our canine crush Pippa Teigen is one of those pooches. You might’ve seen her drooling pretty in pearls in our Live Life Your OUAI Campaign or lounging next to John and Chrissy's baby girl Luna on her days off. Being in the spotlight has its ruff moments, but with the help of a few beauty tricks, Pippa handles it with style and grace. Keep reading for a peek into her posh lifestyle, including the beauty routine that keeps her mug looking paw-fect, her idea of a splendid Sunday fun-day, and the three things she’s obsessed wth right now.
Even though mom does all the shopping for her cookbook experiments, I can't resist Erewhon Market because that's where the well-to-do French boy bulldogs of Beverly Hills hang. Eye candy and gross organic kale juice that's good for my insides is a win-win. Paws down, the best shopping is at Ruff Ruff Couture. And I love a good facial at Posh Pet Care.
Who does your cut/color?
No one touches this fine French coat except Jen Atkin. Ever since I moved to the 90210 a decade ago, Tracey Cunningham at Meche Salon has been painting me from head to paws.
Best book you've read recently?
Parenting for Dummies. Mom's so busy cooking and Snapchatting, or FaceTiming dad while he's on tour so I have to watch over Luna sometimes. Ugh, humans.
Tell us a little bit about your beauty routine.
I use a loofa and soap in the bath to exfoliate my coat. When I wobble out and I need moisture/want that St. Tropez glow, I lather myself in Rose Hair & Body Oil. That's my everyday coat routine. When I go out, I use a dab of Matte Pomade to tame stray strands. If I'm wearing makeup, I splatter everything in the Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette on and around the crevices of my mug.
3 things you’re obsessed with right now?
Mom's banana bundt bread (I wish I could make a perfume out of it and wear it), McDonalds merch, and math-offs between dad and Uncle Mike.
What's your idea of a splendid Sunday fun-day?
Sleep in late, sip on a bloody mary with a piece of thick-cut crispy bacon instead of celery. Skip the bath, take a poop on the carpet near parents' bed. Meet up with the squad at the Polo Lounge for mussels and fries. Drop into Duff's Cakemix on Melrose to bake a cake for Luna then get a mani and pedi at Serenity Nail Lounge in Brentwood. End the day with mom's meatballs on a split garlic hot dog bun topped with provolone.
Who's your beauty icon?
Jane Birkin. Serena Williams. Don't make me pick one.
What advice would you give to pups looking to break into the modeling industry?
Invest in fancy shmancy pearl necklaces and go to the bathroom twenty minutes before your shoot starts so you're not peeing over the entire set.
