What goes into your morning beauty and hair routine?

TBH, I don't wash my hair that much because my colorist Aura Friedman would kill me — plus, I really don’t have to since it's less oily now that it's bleached. But every morning, I brush it with a boar bristle brush and throw some dry shampoo in it from day three on until I shampoo it again around day six or seven. My favorite formulas that I switch between are Ouai, Catwalk by TiGi, and Oribe.

As for my beauty regimen, Julie from Elle.com got me hooked on Dr. Dennis Gross' Alpha Beta Peel Pads, so I use them every single morning without fail. He told me the key to keeping your skin clear is prevention the entire month, so the acids in his peels help control any breakouts I used to have. They've saved my skin, I highly recommend them. After I do the peel, I apply this blackhead stuff that Charlotte Cho from Soko Glam got me hooked on called CosRx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, and then I top that with SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 Cream. This is another product I hope is never discontinued because I'm obsessed with it; it literally heals your skin overnight, especially if you've picked your face, which we're all guilty of.

Fave song to sing in the shower?

Hmm, good question. Um, Halo? Titanium? The shower is the only place regular people can sing those songs and the notes sound somewhat on. Haha

How did you get your start as a beauty editor ?

I interned at Health magazine during the summer before my senior year. I had fallen in love with New York City from coming here in high school on art trips, and on the first day of my internship I was immediately hooked. I knew being a beauty editor was what I wanted to do, so before I graduated college, I applied for the assistant beauty editor position at Shape magazine, got it, and now I'm at Cosmopolitan.com, working for one of the dream magazine brands I've always wanted to work for!

Make, foster, and keep relationships — everyone is this business is connected in ?some way, shape, or form. Work hard and fast, don't complain, be kind, and remember to always be grateful.

What is your favorite OUAI Product?

I'd have to say the dry shampoo and the treatment masque, since they're the two that I use the most-slash-that save my hair on the regular.

Favorite Snapchat filter?

The deer ears and sped up, squeaky voice that comes with it!

Biggest hair faux pas?

The biggest one I've ever made was using box color to give myself highlights in college. They were orange-y blonde and not cute; it definitely wasn't my best look.
